Unlike regular Microneedling where the needles are dragged across the skin, Pro-Stamp uses a vertical stamping method creating less trauma on the surface of the skin and is therefore less-invasive, safer on darker skins and has minimal downtime with superior results.

During this consultation, your skin will be assessed to establish suitability for the treatment. When booking online, please book this complimentary consultation a few days prior to when you would like to have the treatment conducted.
Treatment includes topical anesthetic to numb the skin prior to the needling and each treatment is finished with a Pro-Stamp® collagen and Hyaluronic acid sheet mask and XEN LED Full Body Red Light therapy session to enhance results.

How does skin needling work?
The purpose of skin needling is the stimulation of new collagen production in your skin. The needling device pricks the skin multiple times to stimulate regeneration via the wound healing cascade. The body responds to this trauma by sending blood to the area for healing. Blood platelets release clotting factors, cytokines, and essential growth factors.
The fibroblasts are activated. When this happens, the fibroblast undergoes cell division and produces collagen, elastin and Glycosaminoglycans which are responsible for firmness, tightness, plumpness and good hydration. As the skin repairs itself, new collagen builds up in the Papillary Dermis (middle layer) just below the surface. This is only one benefit of this treatment.
Micro-trauma of the skin appears to reset or reboot cellular function.

Wrinkles and Lax Skin
Pro-Stamp triggers a wound healing cascade within the skin which brings platelets, fibroblasts and immune cells together.
Fibroblasts are the master cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin, they form the structural framework of tissues and play and important roll in tissue repair and skin rejuvenation.
Natural electro signals induce the body’s own growth factors. This increases blood circulation to the needled area while at the same time stimulating collagen and elastin production. This influx of collagen and elastin on the needled area fills in wrinkles and helps to smooth and firm the skin.
The result is tighter, brighter more radiant youthful looking skin.
Acne
Pro-Stamp needling assists with the normalisation of keratinocyte function which cause the keratinocytes to stick together and causes blockages in the pores. Needling also normalises sebocyte function, which helps to regulate sebum secretion and oil flow. Needling triggers and immune response that not only controls bacteria but triggers an anti-inflammatory cascade which helps minimize breakouts.
Pigmentation
Pro-Stamp can increase the absorption of ‘skin lightening actives’ through transdermal delivery. As mentioned previously needling restores keratinocyte function, which normalizes cell to cell signalling with melanocytes (cells that produce melanin) thus normalizing the amount of pigment the skin produces which evens out the skin tone and colour, leaving the skin more radiant.
Scarring
Pro-Stamps unique stamping action allows the mechanical breakdown of existing scarring which allows for a new, natural wound healing cascade to remodel and flatten or smooth the existing scar. Scars will appear smoother and less visible.
Rosacea
